Planza is a dynamic event planning platform that helps individuals and businesses organize memorable experiences

Topbeats

Overview

Topbeat is an online music school offering live, one-on-one classes for kids aged 5 to 15, taught by professional musicians. It provides a structured, personalised learning experience with flexible scheduling, progress tracking, and a focus on making music fun and accessible from home.
Helping young learners discover their rhythm—one note at a time.

When we began exploring the existing Topbeat portal, it became clear that users—especially students and parents—were facing real challenges. Navigation was unintuitive, important actions like tracking progress or joining classes were buried, and the experience felt fragmented.
Students often missed classes, parents struggled to monitor learning outcomes, and teachers were flooded with repetitive queries. On the business side, these usability gaps were hurting engagement and retention—directly impacting subscriptions and customer satisfaction.
The platform had the right tools, but the wrong delivery.

We kicked off with a discovery phase—interviewing stakeholders, conducting usability tests, and evaluating the portal against UX heuristics.
Armed with insights, we built detailed user flows, created low-fidelity wireframes, and conducted no-code feasibility checks to ensure quick implementation. We also focused on creating a cohesive design system with consistent components, responsive layouts, and accessibility in mind.
Each design decision was backed by real user feedback and business goals—prioritizing clarity, ease of use, and emotional connection.

To address these issues, we began with a full UX audit, conducting stakeholder interviews, heuristic evaluations, and live user testing.
We streamlined navigation, making schedules, class links, and progress reports easily accessible. The interface was restructured with clarity and consistency, especially for younger users. Every tap now has purpose.
For admins, we introduced batch-wise dashboards, class reminders, and simplified workflows, cutting down effort and time spent on daily operations.
We also aligned the design with business goals—adding progress trackers, smarter onboarding, and subtle nudges to help convert trials into long-term subscriptions.

In the end, Topbeat transformed from a good product into a seamless experience—for users, admins, and the business alike.
